Also down their pro bowl center and Williams, Palmer are out. Keenan Allen probably shouldn’t be playing with the injury he’s dealing with. And ekeler hasn’t been as good as he has been in previous years. Herbert has to be better but Allen hobbling through, guyton and Johnson (as bad as JJAW and reagor) is pretty bad wr corps. Only based on the new rules... we can discuss whether the rules are soft or not... but that is the rule. Years ago, Reggie White hit Phil Simms like that, knocked him out of the game, and the Eagles went on to win the game. Similarly, Hugh Douglas did the same thing with Jim Miller and the Bears.
