I figure Brady will get Bills job. In that regard Ken Dorsey is a name too.  The Bills defense improved at the end of the year so they started winning and it was perceived to be the offense but O results were actually similar

They ran a bunch more under Brady than they did Dorsey.

Setting the Sirianni debate aside, task list for 2024...

  • New Coordinators
  • Adding talent to the back 7
  • Sorting out the Post-Kelce OL
  • Extending Smith and Dickerson (and Williams?)
  • More talent for the back 7
  • The running back room
  • Cox and Graham

Less than eight months to figure it all out.

#3-5 WR with optimized talent and reliable catching.
More veteran depth at edge rusher and IDL.
Backup QB.
Impactful Backup TE

Writing his name down in ink at this point.

And while I don’t think he has worked with Fangio, he had with Pagano at Chargers and Staley at Rams. Two guys very close to Vic

The last 1000 yard receiver the Patriots drafted was in 2009 with Edelman. Then the previous one was 1996 with Terry Glenn lol

Edelman 2019, 2016, 2013

Cooks 2017

Welker 2012, 2011, 2009, 2008

Moss 2009, 2008, 2007

Troy Brown 2001

Looked like there were a bunch in 90s and before as well

Of course there's Gronk that was used as a WR. Gronk 2017, 2015, 2014, 2011

There are benefits to flying (usually, the only one is the time you save), but there's also different benefits to the train.

A few years ago, I went to a conference in NYC.  I took Amtrak, while a bunch of other people were flying.   A huge thunderstorm kicked up.   A few of my friends who flew got stuck on the tar mat for a few hours while they waited for it to clear.   The Amtrak train also stopped for a bit while the worst of the storm battered the area.   BUT... I was sitting alone in a compartment for 4-6 people.   I had a large table available to me.  I had a beverage sitting on the table.  I had my laptop open... and charging... and free Wi-Fi.   So, while friends were texting their frustrations... I was streaming a movie, sipping a beverage and watching the lightning outside.   Very relaxing, all things considered.

I have taken Amtrak a few times in the last year vs. flying.  It's a longer trip but I can get work done and I am far more comfortable than I would be flying.  The chairs are wider and actually recline.  There's a foot rest and people are polite because they're not stressed.

In person for Kingsbury, but maybe he’s just looking to gamble and chase tail this weekend.

It's receivers that Belichick drafted. Not just receivers with 1000 yard seasons that were on the Pats. So just Edelman and Gronk in 22 years.

It's not clear any eagles interview has been in person yet

I'm not a fan of flying either.

Anxiety is a **** at 30,000 feet.

When I absolutely have to, it's a few mini bottles of liquor and then a Xanny right before takeoff.

That’s the part that cripples me. Like, why do we have to be 30,000+ feet in the sky? That’s insane. If God wanted us to fly, he would’ve given us wings. 😂

I can work more if I am taking a train than a flight.  I wouldn't take one across the country but from NC to Philly or DC it's not a bad trip.

Hey NCiggles. Where does the train depart from and how long is the ride?
