More importantly, they have to get an experienced play caller since Nick can't call plays. This OC will need a system, and basically be the HC of the offense, so getting a coach that has head coaching experience, makes sense for what the owner wants. Reports from the press conference were that Howie looked like he had just gotten done shoveling Lurie's driveway for 3 days, maybe there's a fracture in the relationship between them since Lurie did tell both of them to find coaches to interview and have a plan going forward.
