Per The Athletic

  • Philadelphia media personality Howard Eskin has been barred from entering Citizens Bank Park through the end of the season after an investigation found he made an unwanted advance toward a stadium employee.

He just wanted an exclusive interview with Bryce.   Bryce took it the wrong way.

The team does plan to wear purple ribbons in September to show solidarity with minimum wage workers who have to ward off sexual advances from well-known senior citizens though, so they aren't totally ignoring the issue.

Ex-Eagles star defends Micah Parsons amid teammate's criticism

It's difficult to imagine the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys getting along on any common ground, but one former Eagle is siding with a current Cowboys star amid teammate-related drama, Kameron Duncan of The Spun reports.

During his podcast, former Eagles defensive lineman Chris Long stood up for All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons and his show, which he hosted during the season.

To the contention that a podcast is getting in the way of Dallas’ success, just from the outside looking in, I don’t think that’s the case," Long said on "Green Light."

"I don’t think Micah Parsons’ podcast lost that Green Bay game,” he said, referring to the playoff loss that ended Dallas' season.

Long went on to say that Parsons' podcast should be a non-issue in the locker room, and that players should have more important things to worry about.

"Unless that podcast is being used to disrespect people on the team, divide people on the team, throw coaches under the bus. That sort of thing. I just don’t see Micah Parsons’ podcast doing that," Long stressed.

His comments come after Cowboys safety Malik Hooker mentioned Parsons' podcast in an interview with Keyshawn Johnson.

"My advice for Micah would be just make sure we're alright and being where you're feet are," Hooker said on "All Facts No Brakes."

"Because if we're at work and, you know, the run game's terrible but you're doing a podcast every week and you know the run game is terrible then what are you really caring about?

Are you caring about the crowd that was watching the podcast or are you caring about the success of our team and the Super Bowl that we're trying to reach?"

Parsons responded in a since-deleted social media post, wondering why Hooker didn't address his issue with him directly.

‘Hard Knocks’ reveals John Mara-Joe Schoen talk that spelled end of Saquon Barkley with Giants

If it were up to Giants owner John Mara, Saquon Barkley may still have been a member of the Giants, Christian Arnold of The New York Post reports.

While the opening episode of "Hard Knocks: Offseason with the New York Giants” bounced around to a number of offseason issues that Joe Schoen and the Giants brain trust faced, the departure of the 2018 first-round pick played a central role throughout the 40-minute episode.

The most telling moment came during a Feb. 13 conversation between Schoen and Mara at the Giants facility in East Rutherford.

The HBO cameras captured a frank discussion between the two over what franchise tagging Barkley would really accomplish and whether there would be a trade market for Barkley if they decided to go that route.

"What are we really gonna get unless it got down to $7 million? I don’t want to offer that because I don’t want to be like we ‘disrespected him,’ ” Schoen said during the conversation. "There’s 31 teams and it only takes one to maybe be open to doing something. If it doesn’t get to that then, hey, we’re going to let you hit free agency. Find out your market, come back and let us know if we can match it. If we can, we’ll have those discussions.”

It was during that moment that Mara expressed a desire to still bring the Penn State product back, telling Schoen that "in a perfect world, I’d still like to have him back.”

Mara had told reporters something similar back in March when he revealed that he told Barkley that he was "sick” over the fact that the Giants were losing him.

Barkley signed a three-year, $37.75 million deal with a guaranteed $26 million with the Eagles at the opening of free agency.

While the Giants owner expressed a desire to keep Barkley, in the episode Schoen pointed to the need to bolster the offensive line and give quarterback Daniel Jones a fighting chance to succeed next season.

The Giants signed Jones to a massive extension in 2023 before he struggled to open the season and then had to undergo surgery to repair the ACL in his right knee after playing just six games.

"Daniel’s making a lot of money and it’s the fork. We have to figure out, is he the guy, so we have to protect him,” Schoen said. "We need to put resources there. … We’ll have to find a running back, but upgrade the offensive line and give him a chance.”

Schoen then went over several of the potential running back free-agent options that could present themselves once the market opened.

Among the names mentioned was the back eventually tapped to be Barkley’s replacement, veteran running back Devin Singletary.

The Giants third-year general manager predicted there would be "value guys” on the open market.

"We have to upgrade the offensive line and you’re paying [Jones] $40 million and it’s not to hand the ball off to a $12 million back,” Schoen said, addressing the concern that the Giants would be losing a large part of their offense. "My plan is to address the offensive line at some point here in free agency. We’re sitting at six, there’s a chance there’s an offensive weapon there. This is the year for Daniel.”

The amount of uncrustables I sell at my store is ridiculous... Are you still a poor if you pay extra for the crust to be cut off?

I don't know the science behind it, but crust off's (but not uncrustables for some reason) get devoured by baby girl but if we make it from scratch and cut the crust off, she wants nothing to do with it.

Congrats on being married to a red head for 42 years and NOT being murdered in your sleep!

The video is quite a thing. Giants are fools for sharing.

For their purposes, they're not wrong -- in that, they were speaking in the context of a franchise tag and trade scenario.  Their current roster doesn't justify paying Barkley $12M per season.  They have too many other needs.

It can also be said it never made any sense to draft him at #2 overall, either.

Or to pay Daniel Jones anything past his rookie deal

Yes, exactly.  Barkley's time in NY was done when they tossed $40M Daniel Jones' way.  Making that choice was ..... erroneous.

Never heard of a crust offs but, either way it's insane. Actors , athletes, adults of all kinds are obsessed with them too. My one friend's kid will only eat uncrustables and that is it and I mean no other food just those all day everyday lol.

I enjoy how you say making a PB &J from scratch lol. Like you baked the bread and crushed the peanuts and sheet lol
