Whit used to be. But he’s near dead last in exit velocity and pache has been garbage since his injury last year. Both have been bad for a long enough time to know neither is. Ranger can’t strike guys out and his command is all over the place. They aren’t coming back from down 4-2 let alone if he gives up more runs. add in we have 4 errors today. He had 6 starts this month (most of any month— one knocked out early due to ball hitting his hand) and yet the least amount of Ks. His last 3 starts he has 8Ks. Because O’hoppe is already good and likely is going to get better as the years pass. And it’s at a position that is super hard to find good offensive catchers and we traded for marsh when he was really struggling and the angels were giving up on him.
